Hello all from /sg/ and other passersby. It has been awhile since I last made an /hr/ thread but I promised this one would be unique.
Ordinarily I usually post pictures of both the Russian and US militaries as that is my area of expertise (very particularly in the air forces) and thus I have very extensive photo collections of both. But this time I was asked to collect photos of militaries and equipment from the countries that I seldom post like China, India, Israel, and the UK to name a few.

I am so fucking jealous, as a 63 yr old American all I ever wanted to do was to fly fighter jets. the F106 delta jet , the interceptor was my fav! F-104 like Germany had was a rocket, simply put! Tiny wings, faster than hell and how awesome looking! Pilot eject out the bottom to avoid getting sliced and diced by the tail section!
>>2788910
PLease give us hints of the new fighter, you KNOW what I am talking about. USA air dominance again, fuck the chicoms. Never a threat actually, even for the lame F-35. Next gen will be so much faster, slimmer and smarter, with much better weapons capability! They won't even see it coming until it raises almighty hell upon them, and by then they will be so far gone. Might as well surrender now , as we will always rule the skies and seas

Hey Mighty Colorado. Was wondering if you have heard anything in relation to the PAK-DP.
IIRC this year they are to work out a design to bring into prototype and I am really curious to see if they stick with the MiG-25/31 aerodynamic shape. Or if they actually do something new.
>>2843456
They're basically hitching a ride. It's a thing.
>>2846261
As of now the PAK-DP is unfunded, but MiG is ready to carry out the work if the VKS decides to do so. It will be a brand new design and not carry on the legacy of the MiG-31 (which would a problem as the entire MiG-31 assembly has been gutted). There are some rumors that the PAK-DP may in fact become Russia's sixth generation fighter project but as of now the parameters and requirements for a sixth generation fighter as still only beig realized both in the US and Russia. So we'll see.
>>2846280
Also as a method of rescue. Note the helo helmets on the guys holding on.
British Type 45 destroyer
>>2846310
Makes sense. But Russia does need a long range high speed interceptor to help cover the Arctic and Pacific regions.
>>2846548
I would agree with you but with the advent of the high performance PAK-FA and newer and more advanced missiles in a variety of applications. A new interceptor which fits a very niche role may be seen as unnecessary.

Lol a spamming assblasted chink. Next you'll be telling me that the J-11 is actually an indigenous fighter. Makes me wonder why the Chinks even bothered with that huge data breach into Lockheed Martin's systems back in 2009. It is no secret that the Chinks are not only behind in technology to the United States and Russia and that the Chinks have frequently relied on industrial espionage to make sure they don't fall behind further. Anyone interested in this should read Chinese Industrial Espionage: Technology Acquisition and Military Modernisation (excellent book btw).
As for the EOTS. I was referring to the concept altogether. You have to be a fool to convince yourself that it was a coincidence that the EOTS of the F-35 just happens to be in the same general position, fulfills the same role, and yes even the housing looks similar. But from there, we can even dive deeper. The general public can easily look up of the beyond the housing on the Lighting II's EOTS. However, due to the very secretive nature of Chinese MIC the same cannot be said about the J-20's EOTS that the Chinks use. Unless you can provide any evidence that the EOTS on the J-20 differs significantly in design from the F-35's EOTS, your claim has no ground.
>>2854591
"Muh glorious commie China was first"
First of all, I really did not have to go out of my way that JF-17 was first. Secondly, the practical use of using DSIs to reduce the RCS was not realized until Lockheed incorporated it into the X-35.
>>2854592
I really feel bad for you and whatever complex you have that makes you defend China in such a way. You need to back up your claim that the dimensions differ significantly than the Admiral Kuznetsov because I certainly have not seen any. Please do make an effort to spare me from your bs kid.
