Is it possible that the Uralic peoples came from Northern China? Comb ceramic culture made its first appearance there and somehow it ended up in Northern Europe some time later

Seems pretty unlikely. Afaik, the current thinking is that the ancestors of the Urailics and the Nordics survived the last ice age somewhere in Siberia before spreading west, but some might have gone east. The idea they originated in the far east seems implausible, tho.
