So while googling norse shit I ran into this and wanted to know what it said.
I've looked through runes for a fucking hour now and can't find anything even remotely close to what's inscribed here.
Anyone have any idea what it says if it's even legit runes?

So made-up bullshit like I assumed?
>>670632
Yes I think.

They'd be Elder Futhark if it's based on the real thing. Start with those runes if you want to look in.
>>670577
It says "kek".
>>670651
Kek
No match. It's made up
>>671251
Right seems like a combination of wealth and torch. Middle is game and tyr
Don't know about the left
>>671300
Maybe the left one is sun and joy?
Was combining them common practice or is this a modern things people just did to combine runes into one?

Autistic LARPing
On an unrelated note, I love how we call that Dwarves, Elves, etc... (Aside "Jotunn" who for some reason are not Ettins), BUT for deities we use Northern Germanic naming
I mean why not Woden and Thunor?
IT'S NOT FUCKING ODIN AND THOR IN ENGLISH
No one fucking calls Roman deities after Vulgar Latin, or Greek after some periphery dialect like Macedonian.

What's so ridiculous about that picture? It doesn't look any more absurd than any other religious congregation.
Also on the note of names, probably for similar reasons as to why we use romanizations in translations of Greek epics. Which I'm actually not sure of the reason behind, I think it's more or less a "just cuz" matter.
They are runic diphthongs. Two characters combined into one phoneme. like th, ng, etc. The old norse didn't write this way. It's just some made-up wannabe Aryan shit.

Ah, absolutely nothing
It was just inside KC meme
Yes Cronus and Uranus (but some confuse it like, thinks Uranus was Roman god and not Caelus, I don't understand planetar naming convention) rather than Kronos and Ouranos. In our language for example we mostly use more native-derived forms.
But it's the same with Egyptian deities really, we use greecisations. Anubis, not Anpu, etc. But that can be explained because up until discovery of Rosetta Stone and extensive researches on Coptic language we had no idea how they called it themselves.
Which makes it making even less fucking sense, in not using English naming for them.
Fucking Marvel.
