From what I know of Serbis, while they're still sore over Bosnia and Kosovo, and sometimes even Macedonia, they're particularly asspained over losing Montenegro. No beaches for Serbia.

They will, however, argue that Vojvodina makes up for almost all of it.

I am from the south and a lot of people don't even give shit about Bosnia either. Even with the Kosovo the biggest feeling is fear that we are next to get taken by Albos. They are already moving out of Preševo Valley.

Being a Montenegrin, I can tell you that those types are a minority who would change back to being radical Serbs if government changed. Most of them are Muslim in any case, we're 20% Muslim.
Of course it's our collective fault we let such hyenas dominate, but they achieved it with wholehearted Western support, and it's hard to fight that, plus decades of communist ''we're totally not Serbs''.

Well they didn't do it in 1912. Politics of the early 1910s was a mess. In 1912 the entire French cabinet resigned and it was up in the air if the new one will be more aggressive towards Germany or not. Killing of the Archduke opened a possibility for an attack. Everybody agrees that the great war only needed a spark. This was the spark and it's hard to imagine anything else. It would have to be another political assassination. It wasn't unheard of. Conspiracies against the monarchs were daily news.
