People always make fun of France for losing so quickly, but why don't more people talk about how quickly Germany lost France?

We do, after the breakout.
But Overlord was slow in the initial phase. Progress through the Bocage was slow, and objectives like Caen were supposed to be captured on D-day+1, but ended up taking until D-Day+60.
Once Operation Cobra started the breakthrough, the Germans collapsed pretty much instantly.

Because the French performed vastly more poorly than they should have during Fall Gelb, and because the Germans could put up quite an effective resistance, considering the circumstances in the later half of '44.
besides, the only people who make fun of the French for being cowards are people who have no real knowledge about ww2 or warfare in general.

Germany took longer to lose France than France did. Not to mention France had only one front to fight on, and only one enemy on that front, while they had three allies.
France had every advantage in that war, and still they managed to fuck it up completely thanks to government ineptitude.

Germany cut a deal with France to shorten the BoF, whereas Americans straight up took France back.

Germany was fighting against the British Empire (including the commonwealth countries), the Soviet Union, and America. France was only fighting the Germans (with British support). There's quite a difference there.
Napoleon knocked out Prussia in like 14 days. Why does no one mention that?
