In reality the Japs and Germans never co-operated. The Japs didn't even declare war on the Soviet Union, and kept trying to get the Germans to make peace with them. The German declaration of war on the US was not because of Japan, but rather because the US kept attacking German shipping.

If you want to look at actual ""axis"" countries, i.e. those that fought directly alongside Germany in military alliance, look at Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Finland.
