Is it just me or is it impossible to make non-metal weapons and warriors cool? I'm thinking we just have a Bronze age bias. Stone weapons can't impress me.

No we have "children play with wooden swords" bias

Stone spears and clubs are kinda lame. Take the exact same Aztec warrior, give him a bronze spear and suddenly he's a lot cooler.
Stone weapons are what you associate with "primitives".
Does this count?
This one is pretty cool too

No, it's not just you.
The Injuns thought so to.
Which is why they adopted European weaponry, beasts and technologies as quickly as they could, in some cases building their entire culture around them.
The Sioux became a Nomadic horse culture as a result of European contact.
