propaganda isn't necessarily false. the Rape of Belgium was used as entente propaganda and while it did exaggerate German atrocities in Belgium, it still was mostly true. That said Generalplan Ost was real. The Nazis were geneociding jews, gypsies, gays, and other undesirables so why wouldn't they genocide slavs as well?
