I was agreeing with you that Franklin didn't "invent" electricity because it is a natural phenomenon, so I agree that it is not possible to "invent" electricity any more than it is possible to "invent" gravity.
I was saying that Franklin, while being a fine scientist who experimented with electricity. was NOT even the person that discovered electricity. That happened two centuries earlier.
