Why do we translate Native American names like "Sitting Bull" and "Crazy Horse" but not East Asian names like Mao Zedong (Eastern Pool) or Hideki Tojo (Heroic Machine)

Because no one can even come close to easily pronouncing them wagon burner languages. Just look how much we already butcher those untranslated pronunciations from the actual Chinese/Japanese.
