If German tanks were so shit and R*ssian tanks were so superior, why did the R*ssians lose a shitload more tanks at Kursk and have way larger casualties overall?

Quantity has a quality all of it's own.
It's how the Chinese fought us to a stalemate in Korea
God I hate r*ssians so much

>It's how the Chinese fought us to a stalemate in Korea
Truman lost the Korean War when he agreed to Stalin’s proposal for a ceasefire in spring of 1951, that the Communists only used to resupply and reinforce their battered forces, and who wouldn’t have been able to resist an American offensive in the summer of 1951.
After that point, Truman allowed the war to linger on in a WWI type stalemate for another three years.

Fucking Truman man, what a shitty guy.

Russian doctrine
in the end it means fuck all since each German tank gonna need to destroy 11 Russian tanks to make up for it

he didn't want risk making the Korean War into a bigger conflict
especially when his hands are tied to Asia, all you fucks only concern is 'muh military glory' rather than reading the whole geopolitical story
also Truman is meh but even Ike pulled out of Korea, what the hell does that tell you?

> he didn't want risk making the Korean War into a bigger conflict
The Communists couldn’t turn it into a bigger conflict, they could barely keep the Korean War going and Stalin knew if he moved in Europe, the U.S. would nuke his ass.
> especially when his hands are tied to Asia
The U.S. stood alone in Asia, there was literally no competition.
> even Ike pulled out of Korea, what the hell does that tell you?
Because Truman fucked up and agreed to a ceasefire that the Communists were guaranteed to break and after three years of pointless WWI trench warfare, Ike got elected on a campaign of “bring the boys home”.

>Truman lost the Korean War when he didn't nuke Beijing
FTFY.

you're working on the basis that you have the foresight of today
Truman doesn't know how much force China have at it's disposal
and while China was stretched out by the end of the Spring Offensive it doesn't mean that it's a beaten or spent force,She only sent 1.35 million of her men there and there was a maximum 700k on the field,a small force compared to what she can muster, pushing deeper into the Peninsula means shortening the supply lines and pressing up against fortresses and defenses, have you actually seen the topographical map of Korea?
As with tied her hands in Asia i mean Truman had to find a balance between commitment in Asian and keeping a healthy force in Europe, this also applied in Vietnam where the best conscripts are sent to Europe rather than Nam,and your stance in Nuclear deployment is egregious, nobody would like to be the one who fired a nuke first
simplistic diction such as 'if Truman didn't ordered ceasefire we would've won' is the same as saying that Barbarossa would've succeed if they started earlier or that they could've reached Moscow if they skipped Kiev
i recommend you reading Armoured Warfare in The Korean War to see how hard is it for maneuver warfare to be applied in Korea and The Korean War by Paul M

>German tanks were so shit and R*ssian tanks were so superior
When people say that, they aren't talking about the likely outcome of a 1-on-1 tank battle between the best that the Germans and Russians had to offer.
A tank being "good" has at least as much to do with the logistical side of things as it does with actual battle performance. A tank that's half as deadly in battle as its opponent but cost only a quarter as much is a better tank.

Do you have any good sources on that? I'm very curious now.

german tanks enabling a high k/d as well as the infamous german way of keeping statistics didn't amount to much when german tanks were produced wrong, in low quantities and wasn't what they needed.
In contrast the russians managed to field decent tanks in high quality and meshed well with doctrine and supply
using 100s of t34 to blunt a german advance during kursk might be seen as a waste, but it further pushed the german into a defeat
