Will western culture abandon irony and return to sincerity? Should it?
How do you feel about the many layers of irony that everything operates on these days, to the point where any sincerity is seen as irony that the listener doesn't get?

It bothers me alot, even though I partake all the time. I think it's a sign of nihilism and confusion, the consequences of a society where truth is subjective.
That being said, there's bound to be a reaction- we just have to wait for the collapse of western civilization.
