Pascal's Wager doesn't work if God really is omniscient. He'd know if you were only practicing religion because of the wager, rather than genuine faith, and you'd be damned anyway.
What about "Better safe than sorry" [insert religion here]?

Well of course, but if you choose to believe in Christianity because of the wager, then you have to know that you must truly believe. You can't half ass it. As far as i know you can turn to Christianity for any reason, but as long as you have genuine faith then its all good.

> There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that hurry to run to evil, a lying witness who testifies falsely, and one who sows discord in a family. - Proverbs 6:16-19
