If we're going to be completely honest, Japan attacking America didn't help matters because right up to pearl harbor the civilian populace still didn't want to get into the war, FDR was begging for a reason to get into it and Japan gave it to us.
However there was no real way that Germany would have won the war, Stalin would have at some point turned on Hitler but that raises the question if whose side FOR would have taken.
tldr: Germany would have lost in all but the most unlikely and extreme scenarios.

>trying to capture the shittiest towns in all of Asia
german invasion never reached asia, they were stopped long before that
>Say main objective of 1942 offensive is oilfields around Baku and Grozny
>Tell those armies to stop advancing
>Fight over Stalingrad instead despite your high command saying it's pointless

But he already had Stalino, was one not enough?
>>3256192
Not for that madman manlet.
Sometimes I wish they had assasinated hitler but then the war woudlve probably gone on for a few more years because a lot of the generals were a fuck lot more competent than hitler in military decisions. He shouldve just trusted the generals with prussian heritage no matter how elitist and hateful they were against non prussians.

Kek
The Wehrmacht generals didn't object Hitler's decisions until it became desperate. Even then there were only individual protests Hitler dealt with easily by sacking and replacing.
Muh ebin Prussian militarism is a meme and it's good it came to a fitting end, being a mere tool in hands of a deranged Austrian corporal.
>>3255796
There's this thing called 'flanking' you have to worry about.
>>3256467
Obviously the Germans didn't worry about it when they came up with the brilliant plan to send all the panzer divisions into the city leaving the single railroad to be defended by Romanians and Italians
It is false that Hitler was a bad strategist and that all the military victories of Germany are due to his generals. In fact, on many occasions, if his military or his allies had not disobeyed Hitler, the course of the war would have changed forever. Even Hitler came to predict where the key day would be, but his staff believed he knew more than the account.
