Except China wasn't colonized to begin with- just a few bits of cities in Coast was all Europe ever controlled there- with and the entire 19th Century was hell for them. By the 1950s they were pretty much at rock bottom. The entirety of Chinkdom never had the benefit of a bunch of European masters building shit for them during the painful crawl to modernization. Everything they built in Chinkdom, they learned how to build themselves.

Not to mention when the European Colonial holdings in China fell to their laps, they preserved them instead of forcing them to be PRC on the get go.

Meanwhile many ex-colonies enjoyed Western development and Infrastructure which all went to shit after they left.

Not really. The infrastructure was paltry barring like a couple if places because conical government had no need or gave any fucked about fufilling the needs if the populace.

public education for blacks was only a thing in Africa post independence. Vast majority was private and had to be paid out of pocket which really made educating the masses a gargantuan task considering how poor funding was for mission schools.
