Books on War of the Roses?
Someone told me to check out Alison Weir's, even though it isn't the most academic.
What's the most academic? I majored in history and did an autistic thesis so lay it on me.

Also, are there others like it?
Just looking at it is making me stiff.
Is that Dan Jones book any good, the Hollow Crown?

It's OK. Keep in mind he's the protégé of David Starkey so is biased towards Lancaster/Tudor. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing given most people's via towards York.
There's been a while bunch of new books written following the discovery of Richard III's skeleton and the more accurate location of Bosworth. Some by the actual people involved, some by people jumping on the bandwagon.
