They should have held out regardless because now they will die by way if genocide anyway. And they only have their own cowardice, compassion and short sightedness to blame.

Nearly every white South African will be gone in the next 30 years, after moving to Australia, UK, and New Zealand en masse. Clearly dissolving aparteid was against their interests.
