I think they got a little out of hand with the whole "he has no sense of humour because of indoctrination", Germans have never had a sense of humour

I've never read the book that cartoon is based on, but apparently the story of the fox and the rabbit was actually told by an adult leader in the hitler youth while on a camping trip with kids.

You know there's a copy at my university library, I'll pick it up tomorrow and get back to you on it.
