Why did they run? Did the Anglos executing civilized Frenchmen really scare them that much?
The two main reasons France lost were 1) terrain that favored the English and 2) nobility/knights who didn't obey their commander and charged in to win personal glory, resulting in the terrible massacre that cost the French the greatest part of their strength
it's truly incredible how retarded a bunch of nobles can be when you give them an inkling of independence

The English fought to win their king the French crown, the French fought for the honor of their king. In both cases, the armies fought for what was lacking.
