He's a decent youtuber in my opinion. His voice is fine and I especially like the little animations he does with the squares.
He is one of the very few decent youtubers that make serious history videos
he's alright

Pretty neat, especially with his animations for battles. His pronunciation of names and places triggers me, though I took Latin through highschool so I'm a bit of a pedant for those sorts of things.

do you pronounce C in Caesar as K?

I like his stuff and it's a good level of quality as far as the education goes.
My guess is that he has some incomplete or simplistic explanations at time tho
I love his videos. The simple grafics and easy to understand asthetics make them extra nice but I always wish that they were a bit longer

Yeah, I was taught classical pronunciation. Pronouncing Caesar like see-zar isn't what hurts (since that's so damn widespread), its stuff like Praetor being pronounced "pree-tor" as opposed to "prai-tor" or Helvetii being pronounced "helveti" instead of "Helweti'i" (with a glottal stop).
little things, but I have autism for these sort of details.

Very good all things considered

Wait so helvetii is pronounced helvetee-eye?
>>3155783
It's pronounced Hehl-weht-ee'ee. You make the "ee" sound twice in a row, but stop the sound to make a distinction. It's like when you say "Nuh-uh" - you say the same vowel twice in a row, and stop the sound without any consonants between the two vocalizations.
