Recently I’ve been getting this impending sense of doom because I’ve realised my life is one tiny snapshot of experience which is incredibly fleeting and once it’s gone it’s probably gone forever. Cue feelings of unreality, spending a lot of time in bed etc.
Tips on ways of getting over this philosophical hump? I was just fine before.
that's just the spirit of the age. it's been like that since the 1700s.

Nothing you do will have any permanent effects. Solution: focus on the temporary. Bring happiness to others and to yourself. Improve the lives of others. Just because your actions cannot affect the lives of those 1,000 years into the future doesn't mean you can't help those in the present.
