Good evening /his/. Let's talk. What do you believe? Why do you believe it, and more specifically why do you believe it is true?

I purposely keep myself away from existentialism because nothing good would ever come from learning it

technically that only applies to ethics
i think it also applies to ideologies and everyday opinions
I believe in mysticism.
This belief is induced by rationality.
Considering the argument for the existence of God (fine-tuning argument, problem of consciousness) is a stronger inductive argument than it's all pure chance, a belief in God is rational. Then, what God? Believing in the mystical God explains the purpose of mankind and God's apparent absence from the affairs of humanity. One then would delve deeper down the rabbit whole, and adopt Christianity, but only a mystical Christianity, due to the problem of evil (how can a Good God allow for evil?) He can't, he must be evil and must have a way to purify Himself, which is what the sacrifice of Christ is.
