Which one was more important and why?
On the one hand it's easy to imagine that the american revolution was more important because it led directly to the french revolution. But on the other hand it's hard to say if it was the american revolution, or the french one, the one that had the biggest and more lasting impact on society.

Yeah United States were a superpower before 1939. I mean it took a lot of military skills to beat some 3th world countries in latin america. Or beat a ravaged european country with three time less population than USA, And all that for a stupid islands which will be conquered by a guy with a beard and 12 guerillos.
