Why is it that America, in general, is much more individualistic than Europe? Theres much more of a "fuck off and leave me alone" attitude to the american way of thinking
is it all just an offshoot of English ideas of classic liberalism?

It's all of the Western World now. But the cancer that is individualism was born in America. Since we had more rampant corporations working feverishly to make the perfect consumers, the modern American is basically their magnum opus.
And since America influences basically the whole planet, we are now all narcissistic hedonists. If anything like dastardly MORALS or LAWS get in the way of our vices there will be hell to pay!
