What's your opinion on Postmodern Christianity? I've never been religious, even though I was brought up as a Catholic, but work of Tomáš Halík speaks to me.

When you add in the idea that miracles can be faked, the bible is imperfect, and a Damascus Road Experience was good enough for Saul, but god's playing favorites, and won't give the rest of us the same treatment?
The truth is, I'm not jewish, so I don't see how it would work out for me following a jewish god.
What about Monarchy though? Does Theism lead, logically to Monarchy? "Gods chosen agent" etc.
I'm against Monarchs, but if I believed in the King Of Kings, then believing in Kings would make more sense.
