I'm interested in the genetic makeup of the Near East, particularly of the Iranian peoples, but I can't find much outside of shitty Stormfag garbage.
Who were the original Iranians? Do we have descriptions of ancient Iranian phenotypes like how Tacitus described the Germanics? Any genetic studies?

The original Indo-Iranian people were indeed Europeans but they did not exterminate the Elamite and other natives of the Iranian plateau.
