Why is Evangelicalism looked down upon?
If someone honestly believes I'll suffer forever in hell if I don't repent and join their cult I really don't mind them trying to 'save' me. If they really believe eternal paradise awaits me if I do, I don't mind. They're wrong of course but I appreciate the the thought.
As long as it's non-violent and not too coercive what does /his/ think of Evangelicalism?

The problem is that it tends to bleed over into politics.

Evangelicalism worms its way into politics way too fucking often and forces its ideology on the public. They're not too dissimilar to political Islam.
Do you feel the same way about muslim missionaries?
>literalism
>biblical innerency
>American
>obsession with strange political issues
No thank you
they are the Christian equivalent of Salafist Muslims or Ultra Orthodox Jews, cunts who insist on politicizing their religion and forcing their moral doctrines on the country.
