Are there any good books or documentaries about the Islamic crusades in Europe?
Something that covers How they moved into Constantinople, Spain, Malta/Italy, etc.
I would appreciate it.

That map is incredibly inaccurate, it's frustrating how it gets constantly reposted

Your pic is dumb.
Islamic crusades don't exist.

>Islamic crusades don't exist.
Is this a meme?

A crusade is by definition a christian thing.
Islam isn't christianity. Ergo a Crusade can't be islamic.

How is it wrong?

Not him but that map is part of a youtube video comparing crusades to islamic attacks. The video lists only 11 total Christian attacks against what you see in the OP. There were only 5 battles in southern france with more than a couple of hundred guys against the muslims, so you can be sure that most of the dots in southern france are small raids.
So on the muslims side this video lists every single thing, from the smallest raid to battles like Tours.
While only listing 11 christian battles total. They even forget a couple of Crusades like the ones against Cairo and Tunis.
Tldr pic is from an inaccurate vid.

Where does it call them Islamic Crusades? It just says 'battle'.

Actually, when someone posted "the source" you could see that there were duplicated Muslims battles are others were just generic "coast of Italy"-like so most of such dots have been put in with very little backing.

A good 70% of those dots are made up random dots like those in Sardinia, it's also missing Arab raids in Piedmont and Lombardy and the sack of Genoa for some reason
