You look throughout past history and see a repeated pattern of thieves getting in positions of power then sucking up all the wealth their society can achieve in a dramatic funnel pattern. Most can look at these past societies that are not their own and realize the elite beneficiaries of this wealth inequality relationship were con artists that didn't deserve their wealth. That is, the Pharaohs of Egypt justified the palaces and all the statues to themselves on ground that they were living gods and this was the only way Egyptian society must be. Most can now admit that's a lie.

The great trick of the modern age is somehow those same parasites have convinced the masses "this time it's different". Oh sure the Pharaoh, the previous Kings of old were corrupt manipulators living in great wealth on the backs of oppressed serfs for no necessary reason other than their greed, but not us! We DESERVE to be waited on hand and foot. You DESERVE to waste your life working for us.
