Pretending that the French and English let Spain take the whole continent unmolested you would probably have it starting out small and religious only to be displaced by more secular interests when actual wealth was found.

Then you would follow the same dodgy Spanish practice of selling huge parcels of crown land to raise money for domestic policies which would inadvertently lead to the aristocratic and corruption problems the British specifically sought to appose.

Blackbirding (pusedo slavery) would have flourished instead of being crushed.

You severely overestimate the numbers of aborigines in Australia even before disease came into play even if blandaing up was a goal their population would always be tiny. Likewise as nomads with a heavily nomadic culture converting them to Catholicism and integrating them into society would be more destructive to the aboriginal people than the English Isolating and dispossessing them.
