The US sped up the process but Soviets, Brits (plus their colonials) and resistance fighters would have eventually done the Nazis in.

Yes, Brits would've won the North African theater and eventually invade Italy, Soviets would've turned tables anyway with Operation Uranus and sealed the Nazi's fate with Kursk and Bagration.

Nah. Without US interference the Germans would have been able to prolong the conflict until an amicable cease fire treaty would have been signed by all war weary sides. This would give them time to regroup and re-militarize for later conflicts, and to develop the atomic bomb.

tl;dr America saved Europe and by extension the world yet again in WWII, as it continues to do today.
