Im interested in learning about the Berber people, do you know any good sources to begin? Is it true that most of the people living in Morocco today are Berbers? Did the Arab conquests have any genetic effect on any lands at all?
the genetic effect of the arab conquest was negligible but check out these wikipedia articles for linguistic effects:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banu_Hilal
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pre-Hilalian_Arabic_dialects
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hilalian_dialects

most people in morocco today speak maghrebi arabic as their first language so it would be wrong to call them berbers. if anything they are arabized berbers. Berbers are very genetically diverse in themselves though (compare malian tuaregs to Kabyles) and can only be defined through language so the term "arabized berbers" doesn't make a lot of sense really.
If you want to get an impression of what Berber cultures may have been like before the islamic expansion you could look at the Tuareg or at the lackluster historical record of the Guanche people.
