Yes, it's the official ideology of the DPRK and was created by Kim Il Sung. It even has a handbook iirc (which may only be obtainable in North Korea). I've heard different views of it, some people say it's a strange mashup of 1930's Japanese Rule with Maoism and Stalinism or people just it's essentially just capitalist monarchy but I'm not really sure.

Like I said it's sometimes compared to monarchy. I'm not sure if it has roots in Marxism/Communism. Juche from what I understand means "Self Reliance" which would largely explain the extremely secretive nature of the country and unwillingness to work with other countries or trade (except for daddy China). Juche is not entirely political either, there are somewhat religious tones to it as it commands devoutness and really worship of the Kim dynasty, especially Kim Il Sung (DPRK is actually a necropracy as Kim Il Sung is still the leader of the country). It's incredibly bizarre ideology which people will compare to different things.

I literally hate to the bone people who badmouth the DPRK. Guess what faggots? The DPRK is a strong, proud, and independent nation. They don't want McDonald's, Goldman Sachs, or intel in their country. They want nothing of our degenerate pornographic excuse for a ''culture''.

If you try and force your degenerate ''way of life'' on the DPRK, they will heroically defend their country, to the death. And they will most likely win in the end. And there's nothing you or anyone else can do about it
