How did Hitler expect to "win" a war against fucking great britain? He very well knew that their navy was 4 times stronger than his, and blitzkriegs don't work on water.
How was he trying to pull operarion sealion off? Was he an autist?

Yes, anon, he was an autist.
>invade his neighbours
>shit france attack
>invade france by pure luck and against all expectation
>attack uk and soviet union
>get rekt
What did he expect ?
>>2918003
He never intended war with Britain and was willing to do much to make peace on fair terms up until quite late in the war. He dreamt of a situation where Germany and Britain would face off against America and Japan.

He was autistic, on Morell's drugs, thought he had divine providence on his side, and was surrounded by yes men. It was the worst possible combination.

Also I think he majorly overestimated the extent to which the British loathed and feared communism to the extent that he couldn't imagine they would ally with the Russians.

>Germany and Britain would face America and Japan
No, Man in the High Castle isn't a history book.
There was some conspiracy with him and British royalty, they where supposed to come to some agreement after a battle but he was betrayed. There's a video on it but I can't be bothered to convert it.

Hitler expected that threatening the Anglos with invasion would get them to BTFO. He didn't really want to fight them, let alone invade them. If he could end hostilities as quickly and as bloodlessly as possible, then he could possibly count on British assistance (or at least non-interference) in an invasion of the Soviet Union.

Hitler did know the nobility of England and Hess defected in an attempt to get the ones who seemed pro-nazi on their side.

>invade france by pure luck and against all expectation
It's incorrect. A lot of french people didn't want to fight the war, being influenced by far right ideologies. A lot of officers were deserting. But i can't say much more about the subject unfortunately.

"They're our brothers, why would we want to fight our brothers?"
