Is there another country as WE WUZ as Poland?
Every time Poland is mentioned in any context other than outrageous superlatives, a swarm of butthurt patriots show up to "fix" the situation.

Why are the polish people so quick to exaggerate their country's modest period of regional relevance, and deny its many failings?

Also history of Poland thread.
No WE WUZ allowed.

India wasn't united until 1948 (and even then wasn't really thanks to the meme country of Pakistan) and China has, for all its history, seen itself as the center of the world, even when beady eyed Anglos kicked the shit out of them to sell drugs. They are just as WE WUZ as MUH COMMONWEALTH, MUH SEJM faggotry
>>

>ukraine
Never saw any WE WUZ shit from these guys, at most they are happy to claim they exist and aren't a Taiwan to Russia's China.
>india, china
These guys actually WUZ for a lot of human history, and probably will be in the future as well. They have tremendous populations and large economies, and have started a lot of philosophical and religious movements throughout history.
>canada
Never saw any canadians claim anything other than mediocrity.
>germany
Before the great wars it was the industrial and cultural capital of the world, they are very relevant in the development of the high arts, philosophy, psychology, military strategy and doctrine. A very recent player in the grand scheme of things, but a player non the less.

India and China were powerhouses BEFORE colonialism started, not while it was going on.
Even not united and centralized, they have a lot of invention, philosophy and religion and spirituality on their resume. They are relevant.
>>
>>2906620

it wasn't a united nation state. Also

The Mongol Empire called themselves Chinese.
>>
>>2906638
The Mongol Empire was Chinese. The Mongols were a very small people, the moment they conquered a few cities they were already a minority in their own "state". As they expanded, they became fewer and fewer, including in administration.
Besides, there is no "Chinese" people. China is a term referring to the union of a bunch of people from the region, and many Mongols fit. One of the more successful Chinese dynasties was directly descendant from Genghis Khan.

This is bullshit.

Of course they were a minority in the Empire. That doesn't mean they assimilated. Like the Manchurians they attempted to privilege their own traditions in many ways. Including their religion.
>>
>>2906841
>their religion
Animism? They didn't push any religion, the empire was free in that way, people worshiped whatever.
Only once it divided into several parts, some pushed for Islam, which was not the "mongol religion". If anything, it shows they assimilated there.

I don't know what do you mean by this? Central Eastern Europe was relevenat from late middle ages to late 17th century. It's a very underrated region. Polish nobles were we wuz because they actually had "their ancestors"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarmatism

Modern Poland triggers both wehraboos and tankies and it's very valuable I think.
>>
>>2906841
Manchus did assimilate though. Though privelaged they ended up speaking Chinese
>>
>>2906557
Deny what, exactly? You didn't gave us a single example, faggot.

I think the post suggests it's just an invitation to discussion. A thread about history of Poland. Which reminds me that thank God we're not littered with endless list of general like /int/.

The filename is in Polish and the pic comes from this video.

My friend went to Bangladesh to visit family and he got fucking food poisoning and shat his guts out for 2 weeks. Then he went to a hospital and the doctor who took him wore sandals and a t shirt, with no lab coat. He also had to walk his mom everywhere because of Islamic autism.

When I was in India on vacation I also had explosive diarrhea for a week.
Our civilized bodies just aren't used to fresh spicy food. Or their hygiene is shit. One of the two.

Also, the fancy upper class 5 star restaurant I went to unironically didn't have toilet paper, and had a cup that you fill with water to wash instead.

It has a cult status even though everybody knows it's nothing but lies. But storywise it's decent. It wasn't until 70s and 80s that they started to have well hidden anti-Soviet themes in tv shows.

You're almost right.
And yeah the background of every character was very carefully chosen.

the whole point of the show was to promote soviet-polish relations

jesus christ, everything above a 3 star hotel in india has toilet paper now. And using water is cheaper + environmentally friendly than TP

It's a great example to analize communist propaganda.
Out of 4 characters:
-One was a Pole who was born in Siberia (descendant of a deportee who fought in January Uprising). So bad tsaritst regime sent him to exil and good red regime saved him. When he dies he's replaced by a peasant. Typical.
-One was from Georgia. Soviet enough.
-One was from Silesia because Poland got some significant land gains there after WWII so they had to show that Silesians were Poles too.
-One had a father who fought against Germans in the first battle of WWII. One suspicious thing about him is how he ended up in Siberia in 1939.

Only that german shepard is susp as fuck.
