I recently made a DNA test. My father was from Sierra Leone and I found out something quite extraordinary: from his side of the family I had 1% Papuan and 1% Native American from the Amazon (and 1% Central African if that means anything). As we all know, these were not places from which people travelled to other countries or continents. How on earth could a Papuan from Oceania or an Amazonian from South America end up in Africa? These were all countries that were visited by the Portuguese who had slaves, right? Yet I'm not aware from which countries they had slaves from. I hope this will spark some interesting conversation. Thank you.
Stop making this thread.
And you are a cuck and a faggot for giving your DNA to a corporation.

Never have I ever received a proper answer here. I shall continue my quest for my long lost family, despite how many threads I will be obliged to make more.

I'll stop when I've found out about my ancestor's possible history. That joke was funny the last time you posted it, as it was know. I hope you'll be present during my possible next thread, unless I find my catharsis on the subject tonight.

OP there is a margin of error on those tests you should consider. These small traces may in fact be false positives.
those tests don't work the way the companies claim they do.
i wouldn't worry too much about those results they are likely inaccurate anyway.

Was Sierra Leone a settlement for ex slaves like Liberia so somewhere along the line someone must have inherited Amerindian and Oceanic DNA from the colonies.

I am sorry to kill your dream, but 1% is probably just some ground noise, a statistical error into which it is not even worth looking

Those were the so called trace amounts? Even the company says that you shouldn't take those for facts
