What word would people use to refer to the people of Europe before said name was formally adopted?
Or was it already widely used before it was given to it officially?

Whats up with Asians calling Eurobenises with the F word?
>>2837529
It's a corruption of Frank. In Constantinople, Frank eventually became a catch all word for western Europeans, and from there it spread to Persia, India, etc

Ferenngi = Francii. Frank. As in the Franks. Charlemagne n shiet.
Muslims pretty much called them Frank, and the rest of Asia followed suit, save East Asians who followed China's lead in terms of Nomenclature.
Also applies only to Western Europeans. Byzantines were Rum (Roman).
Same shit in China. Byzantines = Daqin/Fulin. Western Europeans = Hongmao.
Although East Asians did use Ferenggi (Chinese: Folangqi. Japanese: Furanki), albeit they thought it was just one tribe of the Hongmao.
