Why is Suicide seen as such a bad thing? I mean there's

Hmm... I don't know...why would ancient people have a problem with their sons, brothers, husbands or wives killing themselves? Can't imagine why they would come to think of something like that as bad.

The state owns you and you are nothing but tax and interest cattle to it. Now take these antidepressants and go back to wagecucking.

logically speaking you have the right to suicide
emotionally speaking you don't want your friends, family, and loved ones to have that right.

Didn't the roman stoics view suicide as a courageous act and encouraged it in certain cases. Also you have the ceremonial suicide that was present in many civilisations such as Japan.
