The Bolsheviks had an extremely high amount of Jewish members when the percent of the Russian population that was Jewish is taken into account. Stalin wanted to & succeeded in rewriting history until it depicted only himself & Lenin as revolutionaries & defenders of Communism. Other than changing the past, he also purged Lenin's advisors, his "cabinet," to aid him in doing so. Nearly every person Lenin trusted & agreed with-his advisors-was murdered or disappeared in the first decade & a half after Stalin took over.
