Nazism is a metaphysically objectivist 'Weltanschauung', and people on the right are ultimately fundamentalists. The two demonic forces in Europe that have been unable to assimilate into liberal post-christian society have been Islam and the far-right.

Why not hinduism? well, Devi is worth reading (see: The Lightning and the Sun), she was a hindu and a neo-nazi. Hinduism was a form of proto-nazism in many ways. But Hinduism is not fundamental enough, it's not *extreme* enough. I could Imagine Hitler having some leanings to hinduism (he remained neutral with Christianity out of expediency), because Hitler was a mystic, Himmler I put down as a pagan too. But for most nazis, who were not aryan-mystics, Islam was the answer. Remember many Catholics converted to Islam after Vatican II, or formed reactionary heretical sects.
