What was the Greek opinion of Chandragupta Maurya/Sandrocottus and of Hindu civilization?
Beautiful concubines.
Is this a serious answer? I was looking at some old resources and I didn't find anything like that. Am I being r-r-rused?

Arrian talks about Alexander's encounters with the Indians, and he seemed to generally respect them.
Mind you Arrian isn't truly a primary source, so you have to be a little careful with him.
There was definitely mixing of the cultures in both the Indo-Greek and Greco-Bactrian cultures.
Seleucus I definitely respected/feared the Mauryas and ceded basically all of modern Pakistan to them in exchange for war elephants.
Does that help?
