Communists and Nazis are made of the same cloth tbqh. They're both technocratic modernists who think they could fashion a perfect human, and at any point a person of either stripe can degenerate into it's supposed opposite.

I've seen this in real-time several times, Communists whining about Israel and hating Jews, and Nazis hating capitalists because they spread degeneracy and anti-nationalist propaganda.

The party's official position was heavily opposed to communism. The worker party that preceded it had some socialist leanings but were eventually moved to the center on the new party's platform and were heavily hostile toward the left.
