Meh, Basically the French showed up with a more flexible organization, with enough officers of merit/ability than Austrians or Prussians. Then he pissed a lot away in Spain and threw everything away in Russia.
Read "Napoleon: How He Did It" by Baron Fain.
Also "The Campaigns of Napoleon" by David Chandler.
Also "With Musket, Cannon and Sword: Battle Tactics of Napoleon and His Enemies" by Brent Nosworthy.

Why does no one care?
I was amazed when I found out it took seven coalitions to stop him.

>learn from the *nglo media that he was stopped by the British at Waterloo
>turns out that he legit was emperor of most of Europe for, no joke, like 10 years and it took multiple coalitions to stop him and the only reason the last coalition stopped him is because the Prussians betrayed him
The *nglos always try and make him out to be a sociopathic monster but Nappy LITERALLY did nothing wrong
Basically all mode of the thinking was based on roman thought that infantry line up the center and cavalry flank and shock. You always protect your flank because thats where the cavalry will be attacking you trying to get around to surround and break your line.
Napoleon had cannons and massed them and broke the meta so to speak. All the austrians including Archduke Charles, who was the best text book general in the business, fought by the book. They protected their flanks hard and left the center relatively weak.
Almost every battle went the same.
Napoleon would mass the batteries on the enemy center to weaken it and then send his infantry right through the middle in a series of hammer blows until it broke and then fight the two sides one at a time.
This worked because orders were relayed by foot via couriers. Once the center was broken chaos would break loose because only one side of the battlefield could get orders nad know what was going on, and that side was getting wreked by the french while the other side sat paralyzed or in complete chaos waiting for orders.
Once one side was routed he would turn the infantry to the other and mop up what was left.
Tolstoy actually illistrates this in War and Peace when Prince Andrew is a courier for Russian high command at Austerlitz and is charged with delivering orders to the far side. He ends up setting out on foot right when Napoleon breaks the center and gets caught and injured in the chaos.
