Was the institution of Druidism native to Britain or did it arrive with the Celtic migrations c. 500 BC? Caesar said that aspiring Druids would travel to Britain to study and we know that the beating heart of the institution was on the island of Anglesey in Wales.

We don't know for sure due to a lack of sources but druidism was strongest in Britain.
