Why didn't the British utilise Search and Destroy tactics to suppress the american revolution?
Redcoats didnt have hueys funnily enough

guerilla tactics weren't used much by the Patriots, it was usually just conventional warfare.

Probably too consuming in terms of resources? The european powers were still reeling from the 7year war.

This. Not to mention that the British held back a lot due to still wanting to reconcile with the Patriot forces.
Because the British were in such a precarious position, support-wise, that they couldn't afford to start killing civilians indiscriminately. The loyalties were pretty split in the colonies, so the Britbongs didn't want to fuck things up by being needlessly cruel for the sake of it. Add to that the fact that many of their officers were not trained in putting down rebellions and were more tailored to "gentlemanly" combat in Europe.

In the north yes, but in the south the Patriots were so outnumbered they did dabble a bit with guerilla tactics, not to the extent that's shown in The Patriot but definitely to a quantifiable degree.
The South really didn't have any reason to declare independence so the commanders in the South like Marion had to make do with what they had.

Don't forget that the British troop commitment in America was never more than about 50,000 men, and the 13 colonies are fucking huge in area. Trying to do search and destroy in any sort of mass at all is going to leave you covering a tiny, tiny area and give the enemy lots of places to hide in.

Unlike other Euros, the Brits don't like to kill other white people.

Because the whole war was fought in a manner of 'it's just a few extremists who will retire that hate us'
This is also why the peace treaty was so light, even though they'd broken every oath they'd sworn
