Depends on what you mean by massive.

Half breed, 50%, white/black is not considered white. So a halfbreed + white will produce another quarter breed 75%, thats still not considered white. While the quarterbreed + white might produce somewhat white, at 87%. Some will still argue against it.

The USA and Canada were generally more successful because they had a wealth of natural resources and weren't as confined as your average Hispanic nation.
