Theology student here looking for advice regarding Anglicanism. I want to learn more about Anglicans but I'm confused about which version of the Book of Common Prayer to buy.

Since I'm an Americlap there are only BCP books from the Episcopal Church for sale near me. What edition does the Church of England use and what edition would a British Anglican use?

Here's the skinny lad: the Episcopal church is a complete mess. They've got women clergy, they've got gay marriage, they put Tibetan prayer flags on the altar etc... It's horrible and mainstream Anglicanism is in bad shape overall so what you want to look into is called "Continuing Anglicanism" or "Traditionalist Anglicanism." These guys are the real deal and keep the true spirit of Anglicanism alive against the post-modernist hordes. They use the 1928 BCP so that's the one you'll want to get.
