Why human civility is not intrinsic?
I read some stories about some feral kids, kept in captivity without any contact with civilization. A girl in particoular after being freed was not ashamed to poop in front of other people.
I don't talk strictly about "manners".
Because we're a bunch of animals you delusional christfag.

Yes but why it is not instinctive? A cat poops and pees in the litter like it was made to do that. Also they jump whenever a snake-shaped object is near them.
I'm an atheist but this is irrelevant. How that is supposed to be a proof of god's existence or of his magic touch in the creation of humanity?
Humans require families to grow to adulthood.
Babies can't go wander off by themselves like a fucking deer after 12 hours.
They can't even fucking feed themselves or wipe their own asses for fucking years.
We are social monkeys by biological nature.
In rare cases such as feral children humans can become desocialized and actually survive without a family unit of some sort.
However most humans by biological nature are overgrown monkeys and normally operate in social groups.
We are overgrown social monkeys.

>Yes but why it is not instinctive?
It is instinctive.
A baby looks for its' mother.
A baby requires its' mother.
A child requires a social and family structure to thrive.
It's the biological nature of humans to operate in groups.
LIKE FUCKING MONKEYS.
ITT: isolated desocialized basement dwellers attempt to deny their own nature as social monkeys
The foundation of irreligious criticism is: Man makes religion, religion does not make man. Religion is, indeed, the self-consciousness and self-esteem of man who has either not yet won through to himself, or has already lost himself again. But man is no abstract being squatting outside the world. Man is the world of man – state, society. This state and this society produce religion, which is an inverted consciousness of the world, because they are an inverted world.

A cat buries its poop to cover its tracks.
We are complex enough already. 9 months of pregnancy + ~18 years of growing up, that's some serious effort.

Humans are born with fewer instincts and higher ability to adapt our perception. For humans to be able to form civilization they had to be able to understand concepts in abstract ways in order to communicate, in a way too complex to simultaneously allow hard wired instincts. Early humans weren't like this, they functioned far better as individuals and required less conditioning.
