It is called Aspergers.
I don't know about Scandinavia but German culture certainly isn't robotic. That's probably just a stereotype created by American media.

Patrician taste, anon.
And I have no idea, but according to some people I know that went to Sweden, the people there are very cold and reserved.

I mean, none are really, but you must admit there is something to it. Primarily in the older generation but not limited to it. For sure if they lived through WW2 it hardened them. I know family there who did, barely escaped East Prussia.

People in colder climates tend to be more introverted, I think... Alot of the time is spent indoors because of the weather and therefore mostly alone and/or with the nearest family, so most people just isn't used to being around strangers. As a dane its weird as fuck to go to Southern France or Italy and see all these people just hanging around in the streets, not really talking to anyone but just sitting in a chair smoking cigarettes for several hours. Don't they have anywhere to go to?
Also, in Scandinavia there is this 'unofficial' law called Law of Jante, which is negative towards individualism and personal success. "Don't believe you are better than others"-mentality. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_Jante
Maybe it's Protestantism, the baverians seem less autistic
