What are some good arguments against Absurdism?
It makes me feel sad and I don't want to feel sad anymore.

>What are some good arguments against Absurdism?
the entire school of thought is absurd
>>2644236
it's inherently irrational

But why?
It argues against itself. Camus argued finding inherent value isn't humanly possible, but that shouldn't stop us from trying anyways. So the actual thesis of absurdism becomes pointless once you realize it's an uncontrollable factor.

When you stop focusing on satisfying your long term purpose, you start to craft a more realistic perspective of who you currently are. He isn't saying not to challenge your ambitions. Just don't let them take hold of your life, because like all self serving things, they eventually lose their satisfaction. It's not that we can't find purpose, it's more that we can't rationalize it. That's where the Myth of Sisyphus comes in.
It's why people argue absurdism is so detached from nihilism. You can live a life that isn't necessarily pointless; you just don't know where it's going to take you. Just accept that you don't know what's next and continue to find meaning in your own ways.
